  "The Thrifty 50" option. Will remain open to all runners through race day.

This is our semi-FAT option for only $20. No shirt, No awards, just a good time.  We would like to do this for free but we have to pay for each runner  that comes to the camp.  THE THRIFTY 50 option you will get a great course, well marked, and awesome post race cookout plus full access to the camp I.e. showers, lake ect... As fellow addicted ultra runners we know that cost for races starts to add up and therefore sometimes a factor in running an event so we are doing everything we can to provide access to everyone in our club. A small effort to give back a little to our club that has given us so much! 

Pre-registration: Send us your information by the way of an e-mail with you name, address, Phone number, sex, and age on race day, and send it back to us in an e-mail or call James@540-660-1402 Register@theskylinechallenge.com

  Race Director’s Note:

    As runners we understand how painful it is to pay for a race that is months away. We do not mind planning, training, sweating, bleeding, and hurting for months in preparation for a race but to pay for it months ahead of time? Well that just kills us to do so. (What’s up with that anyway?) So against council from the experts, we are currently taking early registration commitments in order to reserve your spot in the trail event of your choice.

   How does this reserve list work? If you register for the race but choose to pay for your entry fee later, we will keep your reservation until such time as the race begins to fill up.  At which time you will be notified by phone or e-mail at least one week before your payment for the entry fee is needed.
